Automatically protects documents stored in folders
Comprehensive support of server and client platforms
Easy-to-use by the end-user
Without changing how you work
Your users will copy or move their documents to a local folder or a File Server’s folder knowing that these will be secured and under the control of the enterprise. They will continue using Microsoft Office and Acrobat Reader to access the protected documents. The company will obtain a detailed list of accesses to the protected documents including blocked or undesired access attempts, and can remotely revoke access or “destroy” the documents and their copies.
More control in the file than in the folder
So far, as an administrator, you restrict access permissions to folders of your File Servers depending on the groups or users. But what happens when someone copies a document outside the folder? The document or its copies can be sent to whomever and you’ve lost control over it. With SealPath you can keep control over the documents even if the users have taken them out of the company.
Automatic protection for Dropbox, Google Drive, SkyDrive or Box folders
Select a folder within Dropbox or Box and assign a protection over it. From that moment, all the documents stored on it will remain secured and encrypted. Although you share the folder with other people and they copy or download the documents out of the folder, you can be sure that the documents remain protected and under your control.
Available in SealPath Professional and Enterprise
The automatic folder protection is available for users with SealPath Professional subscription or for companies with SealPath Enterprise SaaS or On-Premise. The administrator can choose which folders within the File Server must be protected, and the end users can choose what folders in the desktop he wants to protect.
Available in a wide range of server and client platforms
Automatic folder protection can be enabled in Windows 2003, 2008, 2008 R2 y 2012 servers. Also in desktops with Windows XP SP3, Vista, Windows 7 y 8, 8.1 and 10.
For professionals and enterprises who want to protect their critical documents automatically just storing them in a folder. If your users are comfortable keeping the department or project information in certain folders, they can work as before but now you will know that the document stored on those folders will be secured and under the enterprise’s control.
